They just launched Magic Layers — and it can take ANY image and automatically break it into editable layers.
So if you have a real or AI generated image, Canva can separate things like the background, objects, people, or individual elements.
Then you can rearrange, resize, or completely recompose the image like it was originally built in layers.
That means you can generate one AI image and then turn it into multiple thumbnails, ads, or designs without starting over.
