They trained AI on FIFA -- the actual video game -- to turn 2D soccer broadcasts into 3D tabletop experiences for XR headsets. Brilliant move. The model learned player detection, tracking, depth from the game, now it applies that to real broadcasts. Feed it Hawk-Eye data with precise 3D poses from every camera angle and it gets insanely realistic. All those AI stages -- detection, tracking, depth estimation -- just got way faster and way better. Future of sports viewing right here.
