We compare benchmark results across various tasks, showing DeepSeek R1's strength and improvements over previous models. We also check out the new features and models from DeepSeek, such as distilled versions down to as small as 1.5 billion parameters. Additionally, I introduce yaFSDP from Yandex, an open-source framework to optimize GPU resources when training large language models.
